Mrs. Babita Singh

For over four decades, Santhal Pargana Gram Rachna Sansthan has stood committed to a single purpose — connecting the most marginalised communities to the mainstream of development with dignity, inclusion, and compassion. As someone deeply rooted in this mission, I feel humbled to have witnessed how collective effort and unwavering resolve can transform lives.
Working closely with the tribal communities of Santhal Pargana in Jharkhand, I have had the privilege of touching the lives of countless families — farmers, women, artisans, youth, and elders. Their resilience, simplicity, and cultural richness continue to inspire every step we take as an organisation.
Yet, the journey has not been without challenges. Reaching remote hamlets, overcoming deep-rooted socio-economic barriers, addressing migration, unemployment, lack of access to education and healthcare, and nurturing trust in communities that have long been excluded from formal development processes — these remain some of the most demanding aspects of our work.
But it is precisely these challenges that strengthen my determination. Every smile we bring, every skill we build, every young person empowered, and every family uplifted renews my belief that meaningful change is not only possible, but inevitable when we walk together. Today, as SPGRS expands its work across livelihood promotion, women empowerment, education, health, social protection, and tribal art preservation, I call upon the youth of Jharkhand and beyond:
**Join us. Stand with us. Be a part of sustainable community development.**
Your energy, creativity, and passion can bridge the gaps that still divide us. Together, we can build an ecosystem where every tribal household, every woman, and every young mind has the opportunity to grow, prosper, and live with dignity. Let us carry forward the spirit of Santhal Pargana — rooted in tradition, strengthened by community, and united in the pursuit of progress.
